STORE LEVEL SHOPPER BEHAVIOR

Our core offering tracks both exterior and interior store (or shop-in-shop/concession) foot traffic and analyzes how well this traffic converts into sales. This data helps optimize network strategies, operational performance, tactical activities, and store rostering.

The solution lets you monitor individual stores, regions, or custom store groups directly from your desktop or mobile application.

EXTERIOR TRAFFIC MEASURES

Our exterior traffic measures provide the ability to measure traffic surrounding the store (within 50m/150ft of the store front) and passer-by traffic (traffic passing within 3-5m/10-15ft of the front of the store).

Our unique Surrounding Store Traffic and Surrounding Active Shopper metrics provide retailers with the ability to get ahead of their competition by measuring the share of shoppers within 50m/150ft of their stores, enabling the impact of nearby stores (either competitive or complementary) on the share of shoppers to be analyzed.

INTERIOR TRAFFIC MEASURES

Our Interior Traffic measures provide the ability to measure traffic entering the store and the amount of time shoppers dwell within the store. Through integration with your in-store point-of-sale transactions, staffing rosters and marketing calendars, this product also enables you to understand your sales conversion, roster and marketing activation effectiveness.

ZONE LEVEL SHOPPER BEHAVIOR

Consumer research has proven that shoppers who are more engaged and spend longer in-store will spend more. Our Zone-Level Shopper Behavior solution provides retailers with a solution to gain deeper insights into shoppers’ behavior and dwell time within the store through understanding the share of shoppers visiting specific store areas, the time these shoppers are dwelling in these areas and the sales conversion rate of these areas (with POS integration).

Zones Measures

FITTING ROOM ZONES

Customers who use the fitting room typically have high sales conversion and higher average transaction values. Implementing a fitting room zone enables retailers to monitor and improve the share of shoppers using the fitting room and assess if a lack of fitting room capacity may adversely impact sales.

EXPERIENCE ZONES

Delivering engaging in-store experiences is a key retail megatrend. Retailers are investing significantly to transform their stores from transaction-focused to brand or product experience focused environments. Incorporating one or more experience zones within a store (e.g. product trial, digital signage, service or quote areas) enables retailers to assess the return on these store investments better by measuring the number and amount of time shoppers spend in these areas and the impact on sales conversion.

STORE WITH MULTIPLE ZONES OR MERCHANDISE AREAS

Larger retailers and department stores use multiple zones across the store to identify opportunities to better engage customers by understanding the share of traffic visiting key areas of the store (and the dwell time and sales conversion rate of each area). In addition, retailers can also use this granular zone data across the store to monetise space or retail media with suppliers based on the traffic volume being delivered.

Having this level of insight enables retailers to identify the most common shopper journeys and implement strategies to increase the value of these journeys.
